Bike/Walk Photo Library Terms of ServiceOverviewThe Alliance for Biking & Walking ("Alliance") has created a user-generated Biking & Walking Advocacy Photo Library ("Photo Library"). By submitting a photo to this site, you are authorizing the Alliance for Biking & Walking to place your photo into this photo library. In addition, you authorize the Alliance and all member organizations of the Alliance to use the photo for charitable purposes related to advocating for biking and walking. The Alliance reserves the right to switch images to other categories and include only photo entries it deems appropriate. Guidelines for Submitting PhotosThe following is a description of the categories of this photo library to help guide you in selection of an appropriate category:

Photographs must be in digital format. Print or film submissions are not accepted. All digital files must be 5 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or .jpg format, and must be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch or pixels per inch). All images must be digitally uploaded. Mailed or shipped entries will not be accepted. Photos may NOT contain:
Photos that are approved for inclusion in the library will be posted with your first name, last initial and the city and state where you live, but no other identifying information. If you would like to include your full name to be credited with use of the photo and/or an e-mail address for people to contact you, you must include this in the caption field. All entries must be appropriate for all audiences. Photos referencing sex, drugs, or violence will not be accepted as entries. Any photo that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, indecent, obscene, as determined by the Alliance in their sole discretion, will not be included. Submissions must be made in English. Each photo must be submitted in the name of one, and only one, entrant. You must also provide a valid email address when you submit an entry. Grant of Rights in Photos SubmittedEntrants retain their ownership and other rights to their photos except that submission of a photo constitutes the irrevocable right to the Alliance for Biking & Walking of all rights in the photo, all rights to use, copy, sublicense, edit, modify, make derivative works, publish, exploit, transmit, distribute, publicly perform, publish, delete or display the content of and elements embodied in the photo and the photo itself, in whole or in part, in perpetuity in any and all media (whether now existing or hereafter devised) without limitation, and without consideration or acknowledgment to the entrant and the unconditional right to use the idea and statements about the photo for advertising/publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Limitation of LiabilityThe Alliance for Biking & Walking assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Alliance is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail to be received by the Alliance on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in relation to this Photo Library.
