Planning and Executing Campaigns

Planning, executing and winning campaigns to increase bicycling and walking is one of the most important things your organization can do to grow and deliver on your mission. Also find information pertaining to specific campaigns that other Alliance organizations have undertaken including complete streets policies, safe routes to school and a variety of education programs to increase biking and walking.

Complete Streets

Complete streets policies require that street design consider the safety and needs of all potential users including bicyclists, pedestrians, transit and the disabled. Many Alliance organizations have undertaken complete streets campaigns and won local policies, and others are currently working to win complete streets in their communities. Education

Most Alliance organizations spend a significant portion of their resources on education. Promoting bike commuting, bicycle and pedestrian safety, sharing the road, and walking and biking to school are common education themes of Alliance organizations.
